Warrant arrest leads to drug charges

GLOVERSVILLE — Aaron D. Henderson, 20, of 27 Fourth Ave., was taken into custody on a bench warrant and additionally charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, by city police on Sunday at 3:16 a.m.

While on patrol, officers identified Henderson on West Street knowing that he was wanted on an active bench warrant issued out of City Court for a violation of probation. Henderson was taken into custody and during a search, was found to be in possession of an amount of Tetrahydrocannabinol oil and marijuana.

Henderson was held for arraignment in City Court.

Stewart’s employee allegedly eats food

JOHNSTOWN — Michael E. Knoll, 19, of 261 Kingsboro Ave., Gloversville, was charged by city police at 10:05 a.m. Jan. 3 with petit larceny.

Police said he was charged at a Stewart’s shop, 146 N. Comrie Ave., in connection with an offense at 1:15 p.m. Dec. 2. Police said he was arrested after taking $60 in cash on an undisclosed date, and consuming $200 worth of merchandise while employed by Stewart’s.

Knoll will appear later in City Court.

Hanging license leads to charges

JOHNSTOWN — Anastasia B. Lott, 21, of 11 Sixth Ave., Gloversville, was charged by city police at 10:45 p.m. Saturday with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor, and a license plate display violation.

Police said she was charged on North Perry Street in connection with a vehicle stop at 3:30 a.m. Saturday. Police said Lott allegedly had a license plate not affixed correctly and that led to the unlicensed operation charge.

She will appear later in City Court.

Warrant arrest occurs at 3:30 a.m.

JOHNSTOWN — Alyssa M. Marlitt, 25, of 24 1.2 N. Melcher St., was arrested by city police at 3:30 a.m. Sunday on a warrant, a violation.

Police said she was arrested on a bench warrant out of Gloversville City Court.

She was turned over to the Gloversville Police Department.

Crossing center line leads to DWI charge

JOHNSTOWN — Crystal G. Truman, 38, of 207 S. Perry St., was charged by city police at 3:45 a.m. Saturday with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor; and failure to keep right, a violation.

Police said she was charged on South Perry Street after a vehicle stop. Police said officers observed Truman’s vehicle allegedly passing over the center line a few times. During an interview, police said an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitted from the driver. Police said Truman allegedly had a 0.17 percent blood-alcohol level.

She will appear later in City Court.
