Warrant issued for failure to appear

AMSTERDAM — A bench warrant has been issued for Thomas J. Kelly, 24, for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration by the Amsterdam Police Department.

Kelly is described at 6-foot, one-inch tall, and weighing 225 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Arrest on warrant for petit larceny


GLOVERSVILLE — Ira R. Blowers, 51, of 13 Eagle St., was taken into custody on an active arrest warrant on a charge of petit larceny by city police on Sunday at 1:45 p.m.

City police said Blowers was located by patrol officers on the active arrest warrant issued out of City Court, stemming from a larceny investigation at the Walmart at 329 S. Kingsboro Ave. Ext. where it was determined Blowers took merchandise past all points of sale without paying on Oct. 27 at 2:39 p.m.

Blowers was transported to the station, processed and held for arraignment in City Court.

Man charged

with trespassing

GLOVERSVILLE — Alejandro Gonzalez, 35, of 10 Lafayette St., was charged with second-degree criminal trespass by city police on Monday at 8:02 p.m.


Police said they responded to 167 Bleecker St. for a trespass in progress complaint. During the investigation, officers learned that Gonzalez was trespassing inside of the residence.

Gonzalez was taken into custody and transported to the station for processing. He was issued an appearance ticket and released.

Two warrants for failure to pay fines

GLOVERSVILLE — Emmanual K. Harris, 25, of 120 S. Main St., was taken into custody on two active bench warrants by city police on Tuesday at 10:16 a.m.

Officers said Harris turned himself in to police on the two active bench warrants signed in City Court by Judge Traci DiMezza for failure to pay fines related to charges for aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Harris was processed and held for arraignment.
