Troopers: Woman charged with DWI

ESPERANCE –Sarah E. Caraballo, 50, of Johnstown, was charged by state police on Saturday, with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated and drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle on a highway.

Man charged with DWI on Monday

AMSTERDAM — Ivana K. Mohamed, 29, of Schenectady, was charged on Monday with driving while intoxicated, refusal to take a breath test, failure to signal and moving from a lane unsafely.

Man charged with trespassing

NOTHAMPTON — Jacob K. Stephenson, 26, of Gloversville, was charged by state police on Sunday with trespassing.

Troopers: Man in possession of cocaine

JOHNSTOWN — Mikala A. Danforth-Thompson, 24, of Gloversville was charged by state police on Sunday with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance — cocaine, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon with a previous conviction, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and unlawful removal of plate or tags.

Danforth-Thompson was held for arraignment.

City man charged with petit larceny

JOHNSTOWN — David W. Hassler, 22, of 211 W. State St., was charged by city police at 4:25 p.m. Monday with petit larceny, a misdemeanor.

Police said he was charged in connection with an offense at 3:58 p.m. July 12. Police said he allegedly stole a bicycle from 7 W. Fulton St., and then rode it to Gloversville before selling it for $25.

He will appear later in City Court.

Police: Traffic stop leads to charges

JOHNSTOWN — Dana C. Horning, 22, of 19 E. 11th Ave., Gloversville, was charged by city police at 1:15 p.m. Sunday with one misdemeanor count of third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.

Police said Horning was charged on North William Street after a vehicle stop. Police said an officer observed her driving and had prior knowledge she possessed a suspended driver’s license, police said.

She will appear later in City Court.

Woman allegedly had marijuana

JOHNSTOWN — Cindy M. Yennard, 37, of 6160 Route 5, Palatine Bridge, was charged by city police at 3:50 p.m. Sunday with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.

Police said she was charged on South Perry Street. Police said officers had responded to a suspicious vehicle complaint on East Madison Avenue. During an interview, police said it was determined Yennard allegedly possessed a one-eighth ounce bag of marijuana.

She will appear later in City Court.
