Virtual winterfest set for today

CAROGA LAKE – The Caroga Lake Music Festival is back for a virtual winterfest at 5 p.m. today. “The Nutcracker Suite” with a CLMF twist featuring various genres and ensembles of 40 musicians, according to a news release.

The artists include Ken Kubota’s YouTube sensation JHMJams, bluegrass Grammy winner Geoff Saunders and friends, Caroga-based KASA Quartet, Caroga Arts Ensemble.

The finale performance will feature Caroga Arts musicians and students from the Johnstown High School with a side-by-side performance. Johnstown High School Band Director Andrew LaCoppola will present the JHS students and Cavani String Quartet to play a Christmas sing-along medley; all are invited to sing-along from home.
