BROADALBIN — Michele Kelley, director of Internal and External Relations and Human Resources at Broadalbin-Perth Central School District, and Lindsay Quackenbush, public information specialist for Capital Region Board of Cooperative Educational Services assigned to the BPCSD, were recently recognized by the New York School Public Relations Association for their communications work on behalf of the BPCSD, according to a news release.

Kelley and Quackenbush were named as winners in the 41st annual NYSRPA communications contest. Their work was judged by communications professionals from around the country and chosen for an award out of nearly 350 entries.

The submissions are judged for their effectiveness, purpose, writing, content, design and production and winning work is recognized with the designations of Excellence, Honor and Merit.

“Michele has done a tremendous job building the B-P communications department from the ground up over the last decade or more,” Superintendent of Schools Stephen Tomlinson said. “We rely heavily on the expertise of our communications team and implicitly trust their guidance.
