Few glitches with local early voting

JOHNSTOWN — The Fulton County Board of Elections reported it had some equipment problems that delayed early voting on the weekend.

Deputy Election Commissioner Cinda Spraker said today that there were no issues Saturday – the first day of early voting at the County Services Complex on Route 29.

But Spraker said there was a problem with the printers on Sunday that delayed the start of the voting by about an hour.

Many county residents reported waiting in line four hours to vote.

She said early voting continues today and Wednesday, from noon to 8 p.m. Early voting the rest of the week will be Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The early voting ends next weekend, which has hours of 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday.

In-person voting on Election Day will be from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Nov. 3 at county polling sites.
