ST. JOHNSVILLE — After a report was made to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, three underage area residents were arrested and face social host law charges.
Angelia G. Williams, 19, and Koshon Nasir Tuff, 18, both of 12 W. Main St., Fonda, along with Justin Ernell Salliey, 18, of 24 Pulaski St., Amsterdam were charged with the Montgomery County Local Law, section 2 — Social Host Law — for allegedly hosting a drinking party where individuals younger than the age of 21 were being served alcohol.
According to a press release, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office received a report from an anonymous source of an underage drinking party at 245 Crum Creek Road, in the town. The anonymous source called the sheriff’s office after receiving a Snapchat invite to the party.
Deputies responded to the location with assistance from state police. An investigation into the report revealed that Salliey, Williams and Tuff had allegedly organized the party where people younger than 21 were being served alcoholic beverages.
Further investigation revealed that the three rented the property through Airbnb and sent out invitations through Snapchat. Numerous alcoholic beverages were seized as well as a quantity of marijuana. Monetary proceeds collected at the door were also seized.
All three were processed and released on appearance tickets to Town Court.
