Fulton County Board of Supervisors to consider FMCC items

JOHNSTOWN — The Fulton County Board of Supervisors will consider approval of eight resolutions related to Fulton-Montgomery Community College at its monthly meeting 1 p.m. Tuesday at the County Office Building.

Most of the resolutions are associated with proposed contractors’ change orders for projects at FMCC.

Six change orders will come before the board: various contracts with the Campus Labs & Classrooms Phase II project, an electrical change order for that project, and four other change orders connected with the FMCC Theater and other buildings renovation project.

Two other proposed resolutions on Tuesday’s agenda are to establish the FMCC Financial Technology Lab — Phase III design project in the 2019 capital plan, and authorization for a design services contract for that project.

In other business, supervisors are expected to issue a proclamation declaring October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month in Fulton County.

A proposed contract is on the agenda between the county and C.T. Male Associates to conduct a wetlands investigation of a Route 30A site.

The board will review grant resolutions for the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office and county Public Defender’s Office.

Supervisors will consider a contract with Johnstown-based Ferguson & Foss Professional Land Surveyors for survey services related to Rail Trail right of way land acquisition.

A resolution will come before the board requiring a pilot agreement for the Hales Mills Solar LLC solar array farm in the town of Johnstown.
