13 charged in sting

FONDA — State police BCI, along with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, and the state police Troop G Computer Crime Unit, state police Internet Crimes Against Children Unit, the FBI and the FBI Task Force, conducted an investigation from May 9 through 11, that resulted in the arrests of numerous people for attempting to have sexual relations with a child younger than 15 years of age.

Arrested were the following:

∫ Vincent M. Tebano, 60, of Schenectady, charged with second-degree criminal sexual act and second-degree attempted rape.

∫ Tyler D. Phillips, 24, of Fonda, charged with second-degree attempted criminal sexual act and second-degree attempted rape.

∫ Osborne M. Campbell, 38, of Delanson, second-degree criminal sexual act and second-degree attempted rape.

∫ Daurell J. McNeil, 32, of Highland, charged with second-degree attempted criminal sexual act and second-degree attempted rape, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana.

∫ Samuel S. Ambrosio-Vicente, 27, of Albany, charged with second-degree attempted second-degree attempted rape, second-degree patronizing a prostitute and second-degree possession of a forged instrument.

∫ Mikhail Donovan, 27, of Melrose, second-degree attempted rape.

∫ Vejay Etwardo, 29, of Schenectady, second-degree attempted rape.

∫ Jason D. Shattuck, 29, of Gloversville, charged with second-degree attempted criminal sexual act and second-degree attempted rape and resisting arrest.

∫ Gregg Townsend, 26, of Queensbury, charged with second-degree attempted criminal sexual act and second-degree attempted rape.

∫ John J. Hoag, 41, of Gloversville, charged with second-degree attempted criminal sexual act and second-degree attempted rape and unlawful possession of marijuana.

∫ Robert K. DiGregorio, 48, of Gloversville, charged with second-degree attempted criminal sexual act and second-degree attempted rape.

∫ David J. Kondrat, 57, of Middle Grove, second-degree attempted rape, second-degree patronizing a prostitute and resisting arrest.

∫ Stephen C. Pastorek, 50, of Albany, charged with second-degree attempted criminal sexual act and second-degree attempted rape, fifth-degree criminal possession of controlled substance and seventh-degree criminal possession of controlled substance.

All were arraigned in Florida Town Court and remanded to Montgomery County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond.
