Nurses Association set to host webinar
JOHNSTOWN — The Mohawk Valley Nurses Association’s second professional education webinar titled, “Impact of Depression and Anxiety in School-age Children Related to COVID-19 Restrictions,” is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday via Zoom web conferencing and is free for those attending, according to a news release.
The program is targeted to registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and student nurses, as well as other health or education professionals interested in this topic.
The format will be a panel discussion followed by a question and answer period. The MVNA will have the following education and health professionals as panelists:
¯ Jennifer Bellen, assistant director and Committee on Special Education/Committee on Preschool Special Education Chairperson of the Gloversville Enlarged School District.
¯ Robin Adams, Family Nurse Practitioner Certification in Pediatrics at St. Mary’s Healthcare.
¯ Danita Curtis, Family Nurse Practitioner in Pediatrics at Nathan Littauer Hospital.
¯ Annette Fordyce, registered nurse at Northville Central School.
