GHS senior parade slated

GLOVERSVILLE — The Gloversville High School seniors will have a parade in their honor which is scheduled to take place at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday rain or shine, according to a news release.

The class will stage in the city lots at the corner of Elm and Spring streets. The class will start on Elm Street, go to Spring Street, then take a right on Main Street. Once on Main, they will go two city blocks and take a right on Church Street, then a right on Elm Street and back to the staging area. They are asking the community to gather along the parade route, in their maroon and white to help celebrate this year’s class graduates.

The GHS class members are to remember they are not to be driving the vehicle that they are in. They can decorate their car with school appropriate decorations to show their school spirit. They can also feel free to show off the college colors they will be wearing next year. Bring some candy with to throw from the car to the community members that came out to support the class. Anyone who has not signed up with Stephanie Schelin, do so as soon as possible at: sschelin@gesdk12.org.
