Area students named to president’s list

TROY — The following students named to the spring president’s list at Hudson Valley Community College and the programs they are studying are as follows: Justin Springer of Amsterdam, business administration; Stefan Naumowicz of Johnstown, computer information; Kendra Birch of Gloversville, and Danielle Alkinburgh of Palatine Bridge, dental hygiene; Nicholaas Stabinski of Sprakers, Robert Moore of Palatine Bridge, Jonathan Rappleyea of Gloversville, and Dakota Coons of Johnstown, electrical construction and maintenance; Matthew Hirschfeld of Amsterdam, heating/air conditioning/refrigeration technical services; Mireille Yost of Amsterdam, and Jared VanVranken of Gloversville, individual studies; Abigail Woosley and Astrid Fuentes-Dimas of Amsterdam, liberal arts and science: humanities and social science; Nerissa Hanley of Canajoharie, mortuary science; Kenneth Brooks of Amsterdam,paramedic; Marie House-LaPlant of Fultonville, and Jessica Lashway-Bruso of Indian Lake, teaching assistant; Eliza Andrews of Gloversville, Jenna Lestage of Mayfield, Stephen Wendt of Palatine Bridge, Mya Searles and Michael Rocas, both of Amsterdam, and Weiting Ye of Amsterdam, non-matriculated.

Each fall and spring term, the college’s president’s list names those full-time students and part-time students registered for at least six college credits who have a term average of between 3.5 and 4.0 and who received no grade of D, F, I, Z, or W on their record for that term. Students must have completed at least 12 college credits successfully.
