Students honored for highest GPAs

CANTON — The State University of New York at Canton, St. Lawrence County, recognized the following local students at its honors convocation celebration.

The annual ceremony celebrates students who have the highest grade point average for their class year in their major. Held virtually due to COVID-19 restrictions, college administrators honored students’ accomplishments via a series of video addresses, which are all available online.

Julian Ottalagano from Gloversville, a veterinary technology major.

Noah Weiderman from Johnstown, a law enforcement leadership major.
