Ice cream social set for county museum

GLOVERSVILLE — The Fulton County Historical Society, 237 Kingsboro Ave., will have its ice cream social from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. The museum will be open for a self-guided exploration, according to a news release.

The FCHS Ice Cream Social is the kick-off for the summer season, as well as a fundraiser to help support the museum. The make-your-own sundae is provided by Stewart’s Shops.

The tickets are $5 each or five tickets for $20. They can be purchased in advance at the museum or at the door. The FCHS will be following social distancing and the procedures outlined on their safety guidelines.

Anyone who cannot attend this year’s ice cream social but would still like to support the FCHS and its work, can consider making a donation.
