City senior center re-opens for classes

GLOVERSVILLE — The Gloversville Senior Center, 53 Church St., has re-opened for groups and classes. The center is open from 8 a.m. to noon Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and for special classes and events. The center is closed Thursday, according to a news release.

The following is the upcoming scheduled events.

∫ At 6 p.m. today is the karate class.

Tuesday:

∫ At 10 a.m. is the coffee hour; at 11 a.m. is bingo.

Wednesday:

∫ At 10 a.m. a.m. is Wii bowling.

∫ At noon is lunch ($4).

∫ From 1 to 3 p.m. in knitting group.

Friday:

∫ At 10:30 a.m. is Writer’s group.

∫ At 11 a.m. is spring craft at cost.

Saturday: At 9 a.m. is Saturday breakfast and open mic
