Holiday light train now through Dec. 25

AMSTERDAM — The city is having a holiday light train now through Christmas day. The event is free, however, donations will be accepted for community events, according to a news release.

With the help of volunteers, the holiday light train map will put those who want to participate on the path to find the best holiday lights the city has to offer.

The L.J. Nasadoski Memorial Fund will provide families in Amsterdam access to a digital map that will bring them on a light experience through the community. This socially distanced family activity can be viewed from one’s vehicle. Families are to remain in their vehicles for the show of lights.

The journey will begin at the North Pole Hub where children can drop off their Letters to Santa.
