Willing Home taking applications
JOHNSTOWN — The Willing Helpers Home for Women Board of Managers held their monthly meeting on Oct. 14, and opened with the prayer for guidance followed by the committee annual reports. Director, Tammy Kruger gave the report on the status of the home and the residents, according to a news release.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, activities at the home have been limited but kept the residents safe and occupied with in house activities and games. Three residents celebrated birthdays in October and each were presented with a bouquet of their favorite flowers.
The slate of officers for 2021 were elected and they are as follows: Deborah Buck, president; Nelva Teabout, first vice president; Diedrie Romer, second vice president; Kathy Rockwell, treasurer; Eileen Shirley, secretary; Doreen Ford, corresponding secretary.
