Nick Stoners Seniors
CAROGA LAKE — The Nick Stoners Seniors meeting of Oct. 20, came to order by Grace Eglin, president, who led the group with “The Lord’s Prayer,” Pledge of Allegiance and Hello to Your Neighbors. The reports given are as follows: Marion Snell, secretary; Shirley Holliday, treasury; Jean Griffin, hospitality; Marylou Paterson, sunshine.
Edna Bennett announced the slate of elections for officers which are as follows: Patterson, president; Griffin, vice president; Janice McLoughlin, secretary; and Barb MacFee, treasurer. The voting will take place at the next meeting Nov. 17. McLoughlin passed out the pen pals’ names for the members that are participating in the program.
Dottie Blowers nominated Eglin to receive a lifetime membership award.
There were 13 members present and the meeting adjourned at 1:15 p.m.
The raffle winners were Bennett and Dottie Richeson.
