Dog Walk to benefit K9 unit slated
BROADALBIN — The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 337 dog walk, to benefit the Fulton County Sheriff’s K-9 Unit, will start at 10 a.m. Oct. 31 with the registration from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Veterans of Foreign Wars, 19 Pine St., according to a news release.
Everyone is welcome. Those participating can dress their dog up (optional) and there will be a prize for the best dog costume.
This year’s K-9 walk is in honor of Ruthann Coons for the years of dedicated service to the Fulton County K-9 Unit.
The pledge forms are available at American Legion Post 337.
