Church service resumes

BROADALBIN — The First Presbyterian Church in-church worship will return at 10 a.m. Sunday with pandemic safety rules in place, according to a news release.

There is a 50 person capacity to ensure safe seating. Face masks are required while in the building. There will be sign-in sheets in the pew for contact tracing purposes which should be signed each week.

Those planning to attend are asked to call the church at (518) 883-8086 to let the church office know they are attending. People are asked to not attend if they have been exposed to someone who tested positive and are asked to take their temperatures to insure they get normal reading.

The instructions are posted as anyone enters the building. All should enter at the side entrance except those who require the ramp at the front. The hand sanitizing stations are set up at back door, sanctuary and front door which all are asked to use upon entering.

Those attending are to dress warm as windows will be open during the service to provide proper air circulation.

The church will continue to livestream the service on Facebook and use the Frequency Modulation transmitter for each service for those who prefer to not attend in-church worship.

It is important that to follow these safety procedures to ensure those attending are not spreading the virus.
