Dorn Space show canceled

GLOVERSVILLE — The Bronco Brad’s Dang Tootin’ Goodtime Show, scheduled for Saturday at Dorn Space, 99 N. Main St., has been cancelled due to last-minute changes made to New York State’s Phase 4 business reopening regulations, according to a news release.

The arts and entertainment had been scheduled to begin operating again as early as Friday in the Mohawk Valley. However, New York state has just imposed a limit as to the type of venues that will be allowed to reopen. Unfortunately, Dorn Space, due to being an indoor performing arts and an indoor concert venue does not meet the criteria for reopening on June 27.

Among the venues that will have to remain closed and wait for Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s approval are amusement parks, arcades, bowling alleys, casinos, indoor concerts, movie theaters and indoor performing arts productions, according to the state documents. Dorn Space continues to monitor the situation and hopes to reopen as soon as it is safely and legally able.
