Shrine events on hold for now

FONDA — With the state on PAUSE executive order that expired Friday, the Shrine is working with the Albany Diocese and Our Lady of the Angels Province, of which this shrine is a ministry, to develop a plan to thoughtfully and safely reopen for religious services, events, and groups of pilgrims.

Until further notice, however, all previously planned Shrine services and events are still on hold.

As always, the public is encouraged to visit the Shrine grounds, Candle Chapel and Saint Maximilian Kolbe Pavilion for prayer and reflection and for communion with creation, so long as the public continues to follow social distancing and other safety practices, as we try to care for one another in this difficult time.

Shrine officials will do their best to keep the public informed about services and events as they resume, according to a news release. Check its website, katerishrine.com, or its Facebook page for the latest information. See the spiritual resources section of its website for other information that may be beneficial.
