Polar Express at Nigra Center slated

GLOVERSVILLE — On Saturday, Dec. 14, the Polar Express Celebration will return to the Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts for its fifth consecutive year from noon to 2 p.m. at the center’s facility, 2736 Route 30.

The North Pole-themed event will include crafts, games, raffles and all kinds of family fun inspired by the classic tale “The Polar Express.” There will also be opportunities for pictures with Santa Claus from noon to 1 p.m.

Children are encouraged to wear pajamas.

Admission is $5 per child to benefit the Nigra Arts Center or a new, unwrapped toy to benefit Toys for Tots. Children age 1 and younger will be admitted free.
