Harley-Davidson owners give to Fulmont Community Action
BROADALBIN – Fulmont Community Action Agency Inc. has again received donations from Adirondack Harley-Davidson and the Sacandaga Chapter Harley Owners Group.
On Nov. 14 at Adirondack Harley-Davidson in Broadalbin, general manager Jeff Fraser presented a check for $1,500 to Fulmont executive director Denis E. Wilson Sr. The Sacandaga Chapter Harley Owners group also donated a check for $750, presented by Danny Daniels, director.
In addition, the two organizations have teamed up to collect donated toys at the Broadalbin store, 106 Bellen Road. Those toys are then donated to and distributed by Fulmont throughout Fulton and Montgomery counties as part of the agency’s holiday giving programs.
The funds are used to purchase more toys, children’s clothing and holiday food baskets and to pay for a children’s holiday party to be held in Fulmont’s Gloversville Outreach Center.
“The success of Adirondack Harley-Davidson and the Sacandaga Chapter Harley Owners Group’s toy raising efforts, coupled with their generous donations to Fulmont Community Action Agency, continues to overwhelm us,” said Wilson.
