Fire department to hold roast beef dinner

GLOVERSVILLE — The Berkshire Fire Department will hold its annual roast beef dinner on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 4 to 7 p.m.

“This is a great event to have for our community” said Deb Finkle, co-chair of the event.

Berkshire has been holding this dinner for more than 30 years. The only thing about it that has changed, is the time of year when it is held. For the past three years, it started having the dinner in December to combine a Christmas theme with it. Santa will be at the event for photos and there will be treat bags for all the children who come to the dinner.

Dinner is all-you-can-eat and is served on site at the station at 320 Steele Ave. Ext., but also can be taken out for those who prefer to eat at home.

The cost for the meal is $13 per adult, $6 children 6 to 12 and younger than 5 is free. Pre-sale tickets are available, and tickets will be available at the door.
