‘A Christmas Carol’ set to be presented

BROADALBIN — The Charles Dickens classic, “A Christmas Carol” will be presented on Saturday, Dec. 14, at 4 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 54 W. Main St.

Internationally renowned storyteller, the Rev. Tim Coombs, will be presenting the classic Christmas tale. Dressed in a Victorian frock coat and top hat, he begins with “once upon a time” and takes us back to the 19th Century world of Ebeneezer Scrooge.

For more than a decade, Coombs has been taking his one-man show of this Charles Dickens’ classic on the road. Coombs loves telling this story and he knows it by heart.

Coombs and his wife, the Rev. Kathy Gorman-Coombs, co-pastor at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Scotia.

The community is invited to celebrate the season at this special presentation.

A free will offering will be taken.
