John Kuznia appointed director of human resources for Liberty
AMSTERDAM — John Kuznia has been appointed director of human resources at Liberty ARC.
In this position, he will be responsible for the overall strategic direction of the agency’s human resources initiatives and will oversee employment, talent acquisition, legal compliance, employee relations, compensation and other HR functions.
Kuznia comes to Liberty ARC with more than 30 years’ experience in business administration as a chief financial officers, HR manager and independent consultant.
He earned his certified public accountant while working for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Albany and has held senior management positions with companies in several industries, including professional services, publishing, nonprofit human services, and medical device manufacturing. He is certified as a senior professional in human resources and a Society for Human Resource Management senior certified professional.

Kuznia has taught as an adjunct instructor in human resource management at the Sage Graduate School and as a guest lecturer at the State University at Albany. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, New York State Society of CPAs, Society for Human Resource Management, and the Capital Region Human Resource Association. He serves as an officer on the board of directors of a local nonprofit.
