Sheriff’s association meeting on Oct. 15
JOHNSTOWN — The Fulton County Sheriff’s Association will hold its monthly meeting at 6 p.m. Oct. 15 at the Pine Tree Rifle Club on Johnson Avenue.
Peter Betz, former Fulton County historian, will be presenting on the creation and history of the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office. The office is in its 181st year of service to the county.
The Fulton County Sheriff’s Association is a tax-exempt, not-for-profit organization that supports many of the programs and initiatives of the sheriff’s office. They include K-9 Unit, Safe Child Program, Project Lifesaver, and boat and snowmobile patrols.
