ST. JOHNSVILLE — The “Musical Potpourri XII” will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22 at the Palatine Church, Route 5 between Nelliston and St. Johnsville, according to a news release.

This annual program, performed by area musicians, is a blend of hymns, classical, and show music. Susan Crua, former music teacher, will be premiered. The other vocalists will include Kathryn McGowan, Vicente Nunez and Sophia Rogers. The instrumentalists include violinists Kurt Sunderland, Tori Rocas and Thomas Kee and pianists Vanessa VanSlyke and Joshua Mazzarella will share their talent as well. The organ selections will be played by Norma Bowley and congregational hymns will be in this program.

The program is sponsored by the Palatine Society which oversees the continuing use of this pre-revolutionary church building. The church entry ramp and new bathroom are making the church accessible and convenient even while most of the original features are retained.
