Free street fair to be held on Saturday

CANAJOHARIE — A free Canajoharie Street Fair will be held downtown from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday.

The fair will feature vendor booths, food trucks, a parade at 1:30, car show sponsored by Canajoharie Moose Club No. 853 from 3 to 6, a King of the Wing contest in which restaurants compete for the bragging rights for their chicken wings. A $2 entry fee plus 50 cents per wing sampled at participating restaurants earns the right to vote for the most unique chicken wings.

Live music will last all day. The fair will end with fireworks over the old Beechnut site at Exit 29.
