Eighth annual harvest dinner set for Sept. 22 at Eccentric

GLOVERSVILLE — Mohawk Harvest Cooperative Market will host its eighth annual Harvest Dinner, on Sunday Sept. 22, at the Eccentric Club, 109 N. Main St. Hors d’ouevres will be served at 5 p.m. and dinner at 6 p.m.

The event offers a five-course meal, including wine, prepared by chefs in the region, highlighting the freshest ingredients from local farmers and producers.

Tickets are $50 per person for co-op member-shareholders, and $60 for non-members, and will be available at market, 30 N. Main St. Tickets sales for member-shareholders will start on Monday, and ticket sales for non-members will begin on Sept. 2.

The event stars chef Chris Rose of Sam’s Seafood Steakhouse, Johnstown; chef Rob Hanna from the Inn at the Bridge, Northville; chef Seth Corey of Salt in Broadalbin; chef Andrew Dench of the Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts, Gloversville; and chef Dan Lentini from the co-op. Desserts will be provided by Cravings Bakery and from Sweet Dee–lights of Gloversville. Coffee products were roasted by Kevin Chamberlain. Bill Ackerbauer will be providing the musical entertainment.
