Vacation Bible Extreme set
NORTHVILLE — The Baptist Church of Northville, 111 N. First St., will have Vacation Bible Extreme (VBX), “This Changes Everything” from 6:15 to 8:30 p.m. Monday through July 19, according to a news release.
∫ The kids will have games, treats, and a lesson from God’s word. The Missionary Project for this year is a local ministry, Life Savers Ministries, Gloversville, serving moms and their children.
∫ There will be a “penny contest” between the boys and girls, with all the pennies collected during the week entirely going to the church Missionary Project. Last year, over $5,000 (mostly pennies) was collected during the week for the missionary project.
∫ Grades 6-12 will be swimming, weather permitting, with a certified lifeguard on site.
∫ Molly Whittaker, VBX’s director, Pastor Richard Klueg, Pastor George Hopper, and Pastor Andrew Larson and a staff of 40 plus adult volunteers will see that the children have a good and safe time at VBX.
The church invites all kids from all surrounding communities, those who are 4 years old going into pre-kindergarten through 12th grade, to come.
The closing program for VBX will be starting at 6:15 p.m. July 19, and will be held at Bcon Corner. A final offering for Life Saver Ministries will be taken followed by dessert.
Those interested can register their children online by going to the church’s website at www.baptistchurchofnorthville.org or the night they come. For more information, call the church office at (518) 863-8001.
