Code officer seeks sign compliance

CAROGA LAKE — John Duesler, Caroga code officer, is asking for compliance with the sign regulations in the town. All signs require a permit, according to a news release.

The temporary signs cannot be displayed for more than 14 calendar days in one year including political, civic, and educational organizations. The exemptions are real estate and contractor signs which will be removed within 30 days of closing or completion of the project respectively.

The towns’ sign ordinance is available online at www.townofcaroga.com under the documents tab. For questions, contact the code office at (518) 835-4211, Ext 25.
