Water, sewer bills mailed, now due

BROADALBIN — The May water-sewer bills were mailed on May 2, and are now due and payable, according to a news release.

Included in the mailing is the bi-annual newsletter which provides general news from the village. Also included is the Village’s Annual Water Quality Report which is required by law to be mailed to all water customers. Additional copies are available at the village clerk’s office. Customers who are not responsible for payment of the water bill are encouraged to pick up a copy or call and request that a copy be mailed to them.

The water-sewer rents may be mailed to the Village Clerk’s Office, P.O. Box 6, Broadalbin, NY 12025 or paid in person at the village municipal building, 16 W. Main St., during regular hours from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. A mail slot is provided for anyone who wants to leave a payment outside of hours. The payments must be received or postmarked by May 31, to avoid the 20 percent penalty.

Any customer who has not yet received a bill should contact the village clerk’s office at (518) 883-8265 as soon as possible.
