Nigra Center set to host meal prep class

GLOVERSVILLE — The Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts, 2736 Route 30, will have a meal prep made easy for busy people class from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. Andrew Dench will be the instructor. The cost is $25 for pre-registration; $40 at the door; discount for members, according to a news release.

This class is for anyone who is spending more than they’d like on groceries each month, often wasting food or buying ingredients with no clue how to use them; leave dinner planning until the last minute, only to order takeout. The meal planning is the secret to sticking to a food budget, reducing food waste and eating healthy, home-cooked dinners most nights of the week. Dench will offer tips on how to make healthy eating easy and share his cook once, eat twice and double-up methods. The participants will make a beef dish from scratch to take home as their first meal prep product.

To register, visit pncreativeartscenter.org or call (518) 661-9932.
