Fonda library events planned

FONDA — The May events for the Frothingham Free Library, 28 W. Main St., are:

∫ May 1 at 3 p.m. — Children’s Craft Club for elementary age children will meet to make a craft that mom or grandma will like.

∫ May 2 and 3, noon to 7 p.m. — Book, Bake, and Plant Sale featuring gently used books, plants, and delicious homemade baked goods.

∫ May 7 at 11 a.m. — A story hour for preschool children including stories, singing and crafts.

∫ May 8 at 11 a.m. — A book talk by Nancy Palker, author of “Magic & Tragic Rosebud.”

∫ May 10 at 3 p.m. — Read With Me for elementary age children. Participants will be reading some great books from 3 to 3:30 p.m. in the children’s area.

∫ May 13 at 2 p.m. — Craft group for adults. Please bring your current craft project to share with the group.

∫ May 14 at 11 a.m. — A story hour for preschool children including stories, singing and crafts.

∫ May 21 at 11 a.m. — A story hour for preschool children including stories, singing and crafts.

∫ May 28 at 11 a.m. — A story hour for preschool children including stories, singing and crafts.

Children must be accompanied by an adult to all children’s programs. Library hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday noon to 7 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
