‘Christmas in the County’ set for today

CHARLESTON — The Charleston Historical Society will present “Christmas in the Country” at 2 p.m. today at the society’s headquarters (former First Baptist Church of Charleston), Polin Road. The program will feature the Fonda-Fultonville High School Key Club who will sing Christmas carols, play various instruments and do readings of favorite Christmas stories. Sing-alongs will be conducted as well, according to a news release. The program is free and open to the public. The holiday refreshments will be provided and drawings for prizes donated from area businesses will be conducted. For more information about the program, call (518) 829-7592.
