Shirley J. Luck has 2019 trips planned

JOHNSTOWN — The following upcoming events are for the Shirley J. Luck Senior Center, 109 E. Main St.

The center will be the site for the primary election from noon to 9 p.m. Thursday. The lunch crew will meet at Jackie’s Diner at noon Wednesday; feel free to sign up and join. Come with a team and join in for open bridge at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesdays. The Eavesdropper can be picked up or it can be e-mailed so seniors have all the information on upcoming events at the senior center and 50 Plus Club. The 50 Plus Club has something planned for each Thursday at 1:15 p.m. and the center is always looking for some new faces to get involved with the club. The membership for 2019 is $15 regardless of where one resides and gives discounts on classes and trips.

Just a reminder we have different exercise classes going on every day for all levels of ability for a cost. Tai Chi class is now being held at 11 a.m. on Mondays for anyone interested in participating. Line dancing on Tuesdays at 6 p.m. will have their last class on Sept. 25, so there is still time to join in. More information on all the classes is available in the Eavesdropper or call the center at (518) 762-4643.
