HealthLink offers

programs Tuesday

JOHNSTOWN — HealthLink Littauer announced two new programs will be offered for families Tuesday at 2 Colonial Court.

Chocolate Painting will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m. People will learn about sugar, sweet foods and how to make healthy choices, and paint a chocolate picture to take home.  

Portion Power and Paint will be from 4 to 5:30 p.m. People will learn about healthy portion sizes for favorite foods and create a painting on a zippered canvas bag.

These classes are free for families (adult must accompany children) and presented by local artists Beth Spraggs, Lara Kulpa and Tammy Merendo, Littauer’s director of community education.

Water department

closing early Friday

GLOVERSVILLE — In observance of Good Friday, the Water Department will close at 1 p.m. Friday.

The next board meeting will be Monday at 6 p.m. at the department at 67-73 S. Main St.

HealthLink offers

weight program

GLOVERSVILLE — HealthLink Littauer announced its 12-week program Core 4 Adult Weight Management will begin May 4 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the hospital at 99 E. State St.

A $125 fee is payable upon arrival. If payment is made by April 20, the fee is $100, a news release said.
