N.Y. National Guard members receive promotions

LATHAM — The following members of the New York Army National Guard received a promotion in recognition of their capability for additional responsibility and leadership, according to a news release.

Dylan Laport from Broadalbin, assigned to the Intelligence and Sustain Company, 42nd Division Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion, the rank of corporal.

Trevor Carnevali from Amsterdam, assigned to the Company G, 427th Forward Support Battalion, the rank of private.

Laprince Dutson from Amsterdam, assigned to the Company C, 2nd Battalion, 108th Infantry, received the rank of private first class.

Nathan Trosan from Broadalbin, assigned to the Company C, 2nd Battalion, 108th Infantry, the rank of specialist.
