Two dentists join practice

Dr. Mori

AMSTERDAM — New Dimensions in Health Care, a not-for-profit health center, serving the Montgomery County community and beyond, announced that Dr. Judith Mori and Dr. Subrata Mukherjee have joined its dental practice.

Dr. Mori has more than 32 years of dentistry knowledge, being a practioneer since 1986 when she owned her own practice. Dr. Mori also brings with her vast years of experience working with different populations; children, the elderly and disabled.

“New Dimensions in Health Care is honored to have such a distinguished and respected practitioner such as Dr. Mori join us,” said Health Center Director Dennis Yacobucci.

“Being a parent to a child with special needs has enriched my life tremendously. So, for me, working with our core population is just such a joy and honor,” said Dr. Mori.

Dr. Mori received her dental training at New York University College of Dentistry and completed her dental residency at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn.

Dr. Mukherjee

Dr. Mukherjee is a dental professional with more than 30 years of experience, much of that with extensive training in oral surgery. Dr. Mukherjee completed an advanced education in general dentistry residency at Eastman Institute for Oral Health in Rochester. Prior to that, Dr. Mukherjee underwent training in oral surgery in the United Kingdom and Ireland and successfully completed the oral surgery board examination of Royal College of Surgeons. He also has practiced privately and owned his business.

“The depth of knowledge and years of experience that Dr. Mukherjee … will prove to be immensely invaluable,” said Yacobucci. “Dr. Mukherjee’s background is diverse and rich with a multitude of skills that are needed and much sought after in our community.”

Dr. Mukherjee received his doctor of dental surgery from New York University College of Dentistry. He currently is a member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Third District Dental Society as well as the International Dental Implant Association.
