Harvesting crops

Wheelerville students along with Superintendent Rich Ruberti worked to harvest the crops that started in their greenhouse as part of the only Farm-to-School program in the area. The students picked over 250 pounds of tomatoes, along with over 50 pounds of peppers, squash and eggplant. The program is in its second year and the organic vegetables are used in student meals throughout the year. (Photo submitted)
