Youth commission’s junk in the trunk event planned for July 27 in Broadalbin

BROADALBIN — The Broadalbin Youth Commission will hold its eighth annual junk-in-the-trunk — flea market event from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 27 in front of the Broadalbin-Perth Central School District Office, Route 29 and Pine Street. The event will go on, rain or shine, according to a news release.

The individuals, organizations, crafters and businesses are invited to load up their trunks (or truck beds) and set up to sell their crafts, merchandise, attic items, basement items, or junk, etc.

There will be a $15 charge for each parking space occupied ($25 for two). The spaces will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis. The set up is from 7 to 9 a.m.

The proceeds from the event will benefit the Broadalbin Town Park Improvement Fund.
