Person named to SUNY dean’s list

CORTLAND — John F. Person, the son of John and Kiersty Person of 183 Progress Road, Gloversville, was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2018 semester at the State University of New York at Cortland.

Person, a 2017 graduate of Broadalbin-Perth Central School, is majoring in elementary education.

Fedullo receives scholars honors

FORT JOHNSON — Village resident Christina M. Fedullo has been named to the National Society of High School Scholars for outstanding leadership, scholarship and community commitment, according to a news release.

She will attend Fulton-Montgomery Community College in the fall for her senior year through the college’s early admit program.

Adamchick named to spring dean’s list

ROCHESTER — Lauren Nicole Adamchick, the daughter of Thomas and Kimberli Adamchick of 196 Hickory Ridge Road, Amsterdam, was named to the spring 2018 dean’s list at St. John Fisher College, Rochester, Monroe County. Adamchick raduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology and will be working toward a doctorate of pharmacy beginning the fall 2018 semester.

Ryder awarded Subway scholarship

BROADALBIN — Town resident Megan Ryder, an employee of Subway in Vail Mills, has been awarded a scholarship from Scholarship America under Subway’s Fresh Start Scholarship program, according to a news release.

Ryder is a recent graduate of FMCC and plans to attend Sage College of Albany in the fall.

PURCHASE — The following local students graduated from Purchase Collge: Emily Javarone of Mayfield graduated with a artist diploma in artist diploma one year.

Katherine Michel of Gloversville graduated with a bachelor of arts in history.

Tyler Schrader of Johnstown graduated Cum Laude with a bachelor of fine arts in painting and drawing.
