Farmer’s Market set to begin season

GLOVERSVILLE — The 2018 market season will begin on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Elm Street Pavilion, co-sponsored by the Fulton Montgomery Farmer’s Market Association and The Fulton County Center For Regional Growth.

The event will include kid’s activities, free sapling giveaways, local produce, plants, meats, baked goods.

Running every Saturday through mid-October, the market is a 100 percent producer market, meaning everything is locally grown, raised, and prepared by the vendors themselves.

The FMFMA is a not-for-profit group that organizes 100 percent-producer farmer’s markets throughout the Fulton and Montgomery County area.
