Kinnier named member
ALBANY — Hoffman Warnick LLC (HW), an intellectual property law firm based in Albany, announced Tuesday that Matthew J. Kinnier has been named as a Member of the firm.
Kinnier’s practice includes the preparation and prosecution of domestic and international patent applications, and patent portfolio management, in addition to trademark procurement and enforcement.
Kinnier’s technology specialties are electronic devices, integrated circuit manufacture, integrated software systems, power generation hardware, and mechanical inventions. He has been associated with the firm since 2013.
A native of Johnstown, Kinnier received his Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Engineering and Management from Clarkson University, and his Law degree from the University of New Hampshire, Franklin Pierce School of Law.
Before joining Hoffman Warnick, Kinnier completed patent law and technology transfer internships with the United States Department of Energy in Washington, D.C., and Shell Oil Company in Houston, Texas.
