The Holiday Inn Johnstown-Gloversville celebrated its 50th year in our community with an open house on Oct. 18 and the Fulton Montgomery Regional Chamber of Commerce helped celebrate the event with a ribbon cutting. The Open House was attended by Holiday Inn owners and family, elected officials, business owners, community members and friends. The event also highlighted the renovated spaces throughout the banquet area, dining rooms, bar, and patio areas, including a new fire pit and seating area on the patio. These areas of the facility were renovated with new furnishings, floor and wall coverings, lighting fixtures, artwork and more. Visit the Holiday Inn, located at 308 N. Comrie Avenue in Johnstown, call them at (518) 762-4686 or find out more online on their Facebook page or website www.holidayinn.com/johnstownny.
