Mr. and Mrs. Chichester

Courtney Buanno Danise, the daughter of Vincent and Valerie Danise Jr. of Gloversville, was united in marriage to Dillon Chichester of Gloversville, at 6:30 p.m. June 30.

The ceremony took place at the Fox Run Golf Club, Johnstown. Heidi-Jo Buanno, cousin of the bride, officiated.

The bride was escorted by her father, Vincent Danise Jr.

The maid of honor was Maria Buanno Danise of Gloversville, sister of the bride. The bridesmaid was Mary Lee Boyles of Albany, cousin of the bride. The flower girl was Kaya Adeline Kinney of Scotia, Schenectady County, cousin of the bride.

The bridegroom escorted the Valerie Jean Danise, mother of the bride.

The best man was Anthony Andrew Buanno of Gloversville.

A reception was held on location at the Fox Run Golf Club after the ceremony.

A mini wedding trip to Lake George to re-live previous trips together followed the reception. They later went to Dallas, Texas as another mini wedding trip and will soon be heading abroad to Europe for the finish to their honeymoon. The couple resides in Canton, St. Lawrence County, along with their two Golden Retriever dogs, Max and Brody.

The bride is a 2012 graduate of Gloversville High School; a 2016 graduate of Wells College in Aurora, Cayuga County, with a bachelor’s degree in psychology; a 2018 graduate of Sage Graduate School in Troy, Rensselaer County, with a master’s degree and certificate of advanced studies in professional school counseling. She is employed by St. Lawrence-Lewis Board of Cooperative Educational Services of Canton, as a school counselor at the elementary level.

The bridegroom is a 2014 graduate of Gloversville High School, a 2015 graduate of Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica, Oneida County, with an associate’s degree in mathematics and science of physical education (dual certification in coaching); a 2017 graduate of State University of New York at Cortland with a bachelor’s degree and certification in physical education teaching; and is working toward a master’s degree in health sciences and education at the SUNY at Brockport, Monroe County. He is employed by St. Lawrence-Lewis BOCES of Canton, as a physical education teacher at the secondary level.
