Christmas-themed meeting Wednesday

MAYFIELD — The Bannertown 50 Plus Seniors met on Nov. 20, for their luncheon and meeting.

Evie Leach, chaplain opened with the devotion, “A Prayer of Thanksgiving.” “The Lord’s Prayer” followed.

After the luncheon Carl Edwards, president, opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Ann Mallin, sunshine chairman, sent out one get well card.

Joan Bezio read the roll call.

Lorrie Valk, secretary, and Joan Bezio, treasurer, gave their reports and were accepted.

The cookie committee for the next meeting on Wednesday, will be Nancy McWilliams and Kathy Leggerio. A Christmas Chinese auction will be held. Bring something that is not wrapped. This is a Christmas theme event.

The meeting adjourned and the drawings were held. The winners were Dick Bezio, the door prize; and Carl Edwards, the 50-50. Both members donated their winnings back to the club.

Bingo was played.
