Chicken and biscuit dinner on Friday

ST. JOHNSVILLE — The Oppenheim Seniors met on Oct. 28 at 11 a.m. for bingo, cake and coffee at 108 Tobacco Road. The meeting started at 12:10 p.m. with President Kathleen Montana presiding.

Daphne Sydow from Fulton County office for the Aging spoke on changes in Medicare.

The financial report was accepted and seconded.

The Election Day bake sale was canceled.

It was voted on to donate $100 to the Dolgeville food pantry.

The group planned to meet today at noon for a covered dish and meeting. There will an installation of officers who are Kathleen Montana, president; Sally Sterusky, vice president; Carol Baum, secretary; Liz Custer, treasurer.

Starting at 4 p.m. Friday, the group will have a chicken and biscuit dinner. The cost is $10 for adults; $5 for children ages 12 and younger. The public is welcome to 108 Tobacco Road in Oppenheim.
